Carol S. Hoehn, of Fish Creek, Wisconsin, handed into peace in Taipei, Taiwan, on Dec. 5, 2024, after an extended and brave battle with sickness. Born in 1947, Carol’s life was a testomony to creativity, generosity, and a boundless ardour for the humanities.

Carol was the proprietor of The Reward to Be Easy gallery in Fish Creek, a cherished trainer at Laughing Tiger Tai Chi, and a celebrated choreographer and dance teacher on the College of Wisconsin–Inexperienced Bay. Her lifetime dedication to bop was honored by the Wisconsin Dance Council with a prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award.

A pure trainer—educated, form, and provoking—Carol taught a various vary of disciplines, from ballet and Broadway theater varieties to Tai Chi and faucet. She earned her levels from Butler College (1969) and the Royal Academy of Dance in London. Her skilled profession included summer time inventory productions with luminaries like Ethel Merman, Joel Gray, and Robert Preston, and she or he was a proud member of Actors’ Fairness.

Later, the couple embraced life as expatriates, educating on the Taipei American Faculty and immersing themselves within the vibrant tradition of Taiwan.

Carol’s inventive skills prolonged far past dance. She was a gifted painter, clothes designer, and jeweler, infusing magnificence into every little thing she touched. Her cookbook, co-created with Invoice, and their weekly summer time gatherings of bread and artwork at The Reward to Be Easy grew to become cherished traditions in Door County. Her signature creations left an indelible mark on the group and past.

Later in life, Carol channeled her worldwide experiences into crafting intricate jeweled necklaces and hand-bound books, reflecting the various cultures she and Invoice explored collectively.

Carol’s wealthy life was outlined by her grace, artistry, and an unwavering ardour for sharing her skills. Her legacy will dwell on within the numerous college students, associates, and family members she impressed.

A celebration of her extraordinary life will happen this summer time, inviting all who knew her to honor her allure, creativity, and enduring spirit.

Carol actually lived a lifetime of magnificence, love, and objective—a life properly and totally lived.
